Description

This project provides a Node.js MCP server that connects MATLAB to AI agents (e.g., Claude) so users can run MATLAB commands, generate scripts from plain language prompts, and view documentation via matlab:// URIs. It includes tools to execute code, optionally save generated scripts, and a generator to produce executable MATLAB code from descriptions. The README documents installation via npm or Smithery, configuration for Claude Desktop, and debugging tips using the MCP Inspector. Requirements include a local MATLAB installation and Node.js.
