Description

This MCP server exposes an SSE-based endpoint so external AI tools (like Cursor AI) can trigger snapshot actions inside the Local Snapshots VS Code extension. It reports status and the active port in the status bar and supports a simple toolset (e.g., takeNamedSnapshot with a name parameter). This enables programmatic creation of named snapshots, integration into automated workflows, and safer AI-driven edits by capturing workspace state before changes.
