Description

This repository provides several lightweight Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers designed for local execution and integration with the Claude Desktop App. Included servers are mcp-filesystem (a clone of Anthropic's filesystem server), mcp-cmd-exec (restricted shell command execution), mcp-sse (simple SSE echo/fetch), and mcp-weather-node (weather API fetching). The servers let Claude run file manipulations, execute approved shell commands, and fetch/stream data locally, enabling a low-power Claude setup without requiring external API keys. Requires Node v18+ and basic configuration in the Claude app.
