An MCP server that lets you play chess against an LLM (proof of concept) by connecting a web frontend and a Claude Desktop MCP client.
Prototype turn-based game interactions between a web UI and an LLM via MCP.
Test LLM behavior on structured move-based tasks (like chess) in a repeatable local environment.
An example of integrating Claude Desktop (or any MCP client) with a Node.js MCP server and frontend.
This repository provides a simple proof-of-concept MCP server and web frontend that route chess moves to an LLM so you can play turn-based games via Claude Desktop (or any MCP-compatible client). It includes instructions to run the frontend and backend locally and to configure Claude Desktop to use the MCP server. It's intended for prototyping and experimentation rather than a production-quality game AI.
