Description

This server wraps the Ledger CLI (a command-line double-entry accounting tool) with a Model Context Protocol interface, allowing language models to request balances, registers, accounts, payees, commodities, budgets, stats, and run raw Ledger commands. It provides a consistent set of tools (e.g., ledger_balance, ledger_register, ledger_budget) to generate formatted reports and run arbitrary Ledger CLI commands against a user-provided ledger file. The server is intended to be run locally or in a container and requires Ledger CLI to be installed and a valid ledger file to operate.
