Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets MCP-compliant clients (like Claude Desktop) list, inspect, and operate on KiCad projects. It provides resources (project listings, netlists, thumbnails), tools (open project, run DRC, generate BOMs), and prompt templates to streamline common workflows. The server is open-source, configurable via .env, and designed to integrate with existing MCP clients to enable natural-language-driven PCB design tasks.
