Description

Kash is a Python library and interactive shell that turns Python functions into composable "actions" which operate on files and resources inside a workspace. It integrates with many LLMs and external APIs to perform tasks like downloading media, transcribing audio, formatting Markdown/HTML, and generating PDFs while preserving provenance and cacheable outputs. Kash can run as an MCP server (via kash-mcp) so agents and MCP clients can invoke those actions and work with the same workspace context.
