Description

kasa-mcp is an unofficial community-built MCP server that allows discovery, control, and real-time monitoring of Kasa smart plugs, bulbs, switches, and light strips on a local network. It supports integration with Claude and other MCP-compatible applications via stdio or HTTP transports, providing tools for device discovery, power control, brightness and color temperature adjustment, and energy usage statistics. The server is written in TypeScript, supports local network protocols, and offers both local and HTTP-based remote access modes.
