Description

This repository implements an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that bridges AI agents and Jira's REST API. It provides tools for creating, updating, deleting, and listing issues (including JQL support), managing issue links, retrieving project metadata, and looking up users. Built with TypeScript and Node.js and designed to run as a command-style MCP (stdio transport), it's compatible with Cursor and other MCP-enabled assistants. The server requires Jira credentials (host, email, API token) configured via environment variables.
