Description

This MCP server exposes comprehensive Jira functionality (create/update/search issues, transitions, links, comments, attachments, sprints, boards and batch operations) to Claude Code agents. It includes smart handling for custom fields, flexible date and time parsing, Atlassian Document Format conversion, automatic retries, and robust error handling. The server supports localized Jira instances and offers tools to diagnose fields, auto-detect custom field IDs, and generate common prompts like standup reports and release notes. It is configurable via environment variables or a .env file and is distributed under an MIT license.
