Description

This repository provides a Message Communication Protocol (MCP) server that communicates with the Jira Cloud v2 API to retrieve ticket information. It is configured via environment variables (JIRA_URL, JIRA_USER_EMAIL, JIRA_API_TOKEN) and can return specific fields and expanded data such as changelogs or rendered fields. The server is intended to run as an MCP service and includes a simple test script to validate Jira connectivity. It helps agents fetch up-to-date ticket data programmatically within MCP environments.
