Description

This repository provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that integrates with JIRA and exposes a get_issue tool to retrieve issue details. It uses JIRA API tokens (recommended stored in 1Password) and includes a start-server script that resolves secrets before launching. The README includes setup instructions for Visual Studio Code integration and examples for calling the get_issue tool. The project is open-source (MIT) and designed to let agents access JIRA issue data securely.
