Description

This server exposes tools that let AI agents interact with Jira: create Tasks/Epics/Subtasks, list and filter issues, update summaries/descriptions/statuses, fetch detailed issue data, delete issues, and add comments. It is configured via a .jira-config.json and requires Jira credentials (email, API token, domain). The server includes error handling for invalid configuration, authentication errors, and invalid transitions, and formats issue output with useful metadata and comments. It helps automate issue management workflows and lets agents operate Jira without direct human intervention.
