An experimental Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes the JFrog Platform API for repository, build, runtime, catalog/curation, and Xray operations.
Create, list, and configure Artifactory local, remote, and virtual repositories programmatically.
Search artifacts and builds using AQL and retrieve build metadata for automation or reporting.
Assess package curation and vulnerability information (via catalog/curation and Xray summaries) to inform remediation workflows.
This MCP server wraps the JFrog Platform API to let agents create and manage Artifactory repositories, query artifacts with AQL, track builds, inspect runtime clusters and running images, and check package curation and vulnerability data. It is designed for automation and tool integration (including SSE transport for web clients) and includes features such as connection tracking, structured logging, and health endpoints. The project is experimental and intended as a demonstration; JFrog now offers an official managed MCP server recommended for production use.
