Description

iReader MCP provides a set of tools exposed as MCP endpoints for reading and converting internet-hosted content into usable text/markdown (webpages, YouTube transcripts, tweet threads, PDFs, and public Google Docs). It is distributed as an open-source Node-based server you can run locally or invoke via npx, and it is intended to be integrated with MCP clients like Claude Desktop. The server simplifies content ingestion for downstream agents by returning standardized text/markdown outputs that are easier to index, summarize, or reason over.
