Description

MCP Installer is a small utility server that automates installing other MCP servers (npm- or PyPI-hosted packages, or local directories) so they can be registered with Claude. It invokes npx for Node-based servers and uv for Python-based servers, and can pass arguments and environment variables to the installed servers. It is designed to simplify onboarding and deployment of MCP servers by allowing users to request installs via Claude rather than running commands manually.
