Description

MCP Inspector provides an interactive MCPI client UI and an MCPP proxy server to inspect and debug MCP server implementations. It can spawn local MCP processes (via npx or direct commands), proxy requests, and supports bearer-token authentication, persistent configuration, and live adjustable settings. It also includes a CLI mode for scripted, programmatic interactions suitable for automation and integration with coding assistants. The project is open-source (MIT) and intended for local development and debugging workflows.
