An MCP server that lets MCP-compatible clients submit single or multiple URLs to search engines via the IndexNow protocol.
Submit a single URL update or deletion to participating search engines using the IndexNow protocol.
Batch-submit multiple URLs (creates/updates/deletes) to speed up search engine discovery of content changes.
Integrate IndexNow submissions directly into MCP-capable assistants (e.g., Claude, Zed) while keeping the IndexNow key secret via environment variables.
This server implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to expose IndexNow URL submission as a tool for AI assistants and other MCP clients. It acts as a bridge so clients (e.g., Claude, Zed, or other MCP-capable agents) can notify participating search engines about created, updated, or deleted pages to accelerate discovery and crawling. The server supports configuration via environment variables for the IndexNow key, API endpoint, and optional key file location to keep secrets out of the client. It can be run via uvx or installed with the provided make tasks for development and deployment.
