Connect to multiple AI providers (e.g., Google, Groq, Gemini) through a single MCP-compatible desktop application.
A packaged, standalone Python backend bundled with an Electron UI so deployment is simple for end users.
Configurable MCP server connections and local development options (executable or Python interpreter) for testing integrations.
MCP-Hive is an Electron-based desktop app that connects to various AI model providers using the Model Control Protocol and runs a Python backend packaged as a standalone executable. The backend is built with PyInstaller and can be bundled into the Electron app so end users get a single packaged application. Configuration is done via a .env file and a JSON config for MCP servers, making it easy to swap providers or run in development mode using the Python interpreter. It is useful for locally hosted or desktop-based agent systems that need to manage multiple model providers in a consistent way.
