Description

This repository implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides a secure, structured API to interact with HashiCorp Vault. It enables LLMs and MCP-enabled agents to create, read, update, and delete secrets, manage Vault policies, list resources, and generate policies automatically. The server can be run via Docker or integrated directly into Cursor's MCP configuration for seamless routing of prompts to Vault. It simplifies automating secret management and policy tasks while preserving Vault authentication and access control.
