HAL 9000 is a cross-platform MCP server that runs entirely on your machine, providing a multimodal AI agent that can see via webcam, hear via microphone, think using multiple LLM providers, speak with cloned voices, and act on your system with 43 cross-platform tools. It integrates bidirectionally with Claude Code for enhanced AI collaboration and supports a rich web dashboard for control. The server supports free local operation with Ollama and faster-whisper, as well as paid cloud providers for enhanced performance.
