Description

This repository implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that integrates with Gusto's Embedded Payroll API (sandbox) to provide structured tools for LLM agents. It enables authenticated, company-level access to payroll status, employee records, compensations, and pay schedule details, and automatically refreshes OAuth2 tokens while running. The project is a proof of concept intended for local use and integration with agent clients such as Claude Desktop. To use in production the API base URL and related configuration must be updated from the sandbox endpoints.
