An MCP server that exposes Google Tasks functionality so MCP-compatible AI assistants (e.g., Cursor) can list, create, complete, and delete Google Tasks.
List and browse a user's Google Tasks and task lists via MCP-compatible clients.
Create new tasks, add notes and due dates, and mark tasks as completed programmatically.
Integrate task management into development workflows or editor-based assistants (e.g., Cursor) using MCP.
This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that integrates with the Google Tasks API, enabling AI assistants to manage task lists and tasks programmatically. It supports listing task lists, listing tasks in a list, creating tasks (with notes and due dates), marking tasks complete, and deleting tasks. The server uses OAuth2 credentials and generates a token on first run, and can be used with MCP-compatible clients such as Cursor. It was created as a learning/practice implementation to allow assistants to interact with Google Tasks via MCP.
