Description

This MCP server lets agents perform Google web searches using the Custom Search JSON API with advanced filtering (date, language, country, safe search) and returns structured results (titles, URLs, snippets). It enforces a default rate limit to avoid exhausting API quotas and is designed to be run locally or integrated with tools like Claude Desktop. Users must supply their own Google API key and Search Engine ID via environment variables. The server is useful for adding up-to-date web search capability to agent workflows.
