Description

This Model Context Protocol (MCP) server exposes Google Photos functionality—search (text and location), fetch photos, and list albums—to MCP-compatible agents like Claude Desktop and Cursor IDE. It includes STDIO mode support, improved error handling, and approximate location extraction via geocoding of descriptions. Note: due to Google Photos API policy changes (effective March 31, 2025) the server may be limited to app-created content and recommends the Photos Picker API for full-library access.
