Description

This MCP server wraps the Google Maps APIs to provide agent-accessible tools for geocoding, reverse geocoding, place search and details, distance matrix calculations, elevation data, and directions. It requires a Google Maps API key and can be run via Docker or npx for easy deployment. The server standardizes common mapping operations so agents can query locations, compute routes and distances, and fetch place metadata without directly calling the Maps REST endpoints. Useful for building location-aware agents, routing assistants, or place-search workflows.
