This server integrates Google Calendar functionality into Claude Desktop via the Model Context Protocol, enabling assistants to create, update, delete, list, and search calendar events. It includes a simple OAuth2 authentication flow with auto browser launch and global credential storage for convenience. Natural language date/time parsing (e.g., "tomorrow at 2pm", "next monday") is supported to simplify event creation and updates. The project is an open-source/community implementation with support for both Desktop and Web application credentials.
Create a new calendar event. Supports natural language dates like "tomorrow at 2pm" or "next Tuesday".
List calendar events with optional filtering by date range.
Update an existing calendar event. Only provided fields will be updated.
Delete a calendar event by ID.
Find available time slots in the calendar that match the specified duration.
