An MCP server that provides programmatic IMAP/SMTP access to Gmail for searching, reading, labeling, and sending emails.
Search and retrieve full email content from a Gmail account (headers, body, and attachments) using IMAP.
Manage Gmail labels and batch-apply or remove labels and move messages between folders programmatically.
Send or forward emails (including attachments) from a Gmail account via SMTP as part of automated workflows.
This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes Gmail functionality via IMAP and SMTP. It supports advanced search (including Gmail X-GM-RAW queries), fetching full message content (headers, body, attachments), label management (create/rename/delete/apply/remove), batch operations, and sending/forwarding emails. The server runs locally, requires Gmail credentials (App Password recommended for accounts with 2FA), and integrates with MCP clients so agents can interact with a user's Gmail account programmatically.
