An MCP server that lets MCP clients view and search a Gmail inbox using OAuth2 authentication.
Read a user's recent Gmail messages to summarize inbox content or provide context-aware replies.
Search a Gmail account using Gmail's search syntax to locate specific emails, senders, or date ranges.
Secure OAuth2-based, read-only access to Gmail within MCP-enabled applications with local token storage and automatic refresh.
This server implements the Model Context Protocol to expose Gmail inbox data and search functionality to MCP clients (for example, Claude Desktop). It supports the OAuth2 desktop flow, stores tokens locally, and requests read-only access to Gmail with automatic token refresh. The project provides a recent-emails resource endpoint and a search_emails tool that accepts Gmail search queries. It is intended to make Gmail content available to agent workflows in a secure, easy-to-run local server.
Summarize the latest emails from the inbox, optionally filtering by sender or label.
Send an email to the specified recipient.
Create a Google Calendar event for an email or manually specified details.
