Description

This MCP server provides a programmatic bridge to the GitHub API, enabling file create/update, multi-file commits, branch management, repository creation/forking, issue and pull request workflows, and advanced search. It preserves Git history, auto-creates branches when needed, and supports batch operations and robust error handling. The server is designed to run locally or in Docker/NPX and integrates with tools like Claude Desktop via a GitHub Personal Access Token.
