Description

This MCP server provides a programmatic interface to perform Git operations (create/update files, push multiple files, create branches), manage repositories, search code/issues/users, and handle issues and pull requests while preserving Git history. It includes conveniences like automatic branch creation, batch file commits, comprehensive error handling, and advanced search query support. The project is designed to run locally or in Docker/NPX and integrates with tools like Claude Desktop using a GitHub Personal Access Token.
