Description

This MCP server exposes a comprehensive set of GitHub operations — file creation/update, multi-file pushes, branch management, repository creation/forking, issue and PR management, reviews, merges, and code/issue/user search. It preserves git history, supports automatic branch creation, batch operations, and detailed error handling to make automated workflows reliable. The README notes development has moved to an official GitHub repository (http://github.com/github/github-mcp-server).
