Description

This TypeScript-based MCP server exposes GitHub-focused tools and prompt integrations so LLM agents can perform repository searches, fetch repo info, list issues, and create issues via the GitHub API. It includes prompt templates for generating issue and pull request descriptions and utilities to enhance raw GitHub responses. The project is intended for local use, with setup instructions and support for testing via the MCP inspector or Claude Desktop. It uses Octokit for GitHub requests and the Model Context Protocol SDK to interface with MCP-compatible models.
