This MCP server provides a full-featured interface to the GitHub API, enabling file operations (single and batch), repository and branch management, issue and PR workflows, code/issue/user search, and more. It preserves Git history, performs automatic branch creation when needed, and includes comprehensive error handling. The server can be run via Docker or NPX and is designed to integrate with agent platforms (example config provided for Claude Desktop) using a GitHub Personal Access Token.
