Description

Geocontext is a proof-of-concept MCP server designed to enable large language models to access and query spatial data and services from the French Géoplateforme. It offers tools for geocoding, altitude retrieval, administrative information, cadastral data, urbanism, and vector data exploration, optimizing response size to reduce token usage and hallucinations. The project is incubated with IgnFab and aims to improve integration of geographic data with LLMs without duplicating data sources.
