Description

This MCP server connects AI agents to the US Census Geocoder API to provide accurate geocoding, residency verification, and district lookup without requiring direct API calls or scripts. It supports handling ambiguous addresses, quadrant variations, and integrates local city boundary GeoJSON files for residency and ward checks. Designed as a prototype for cities to centralize geocoding services across multiple AI applications, it is currently tested with VS Code and GitHub Copilot.
