Description

This project wraps the @google/genai SDK to provide a standalone MCP server exposing Gemini features (generation, streaming, function-calling, chat, image generation, URL-based image and YouTube video analysis, and caching) as tools. It focuses on URL-based multimedia analysis (images and YouTube videos) rather than direct file uploads, and centralizes API key management, security controls, and caching for easier integration. The server includes extensive validation, retry logic, security protections (URL validation, path/symlink checks, allowed output paths), and tools to connect to other MCP servers.
