Description

MCP Gateway acts as an intermediary between LLM agents and multiple MCP servers, reading configurations from mcp.json and managing proxied servers. It sanitizes requests and responses (token/PII masking), offers a plugin system (basic, presidio, lasso, xetrack) for guardrails and tracing, and includes a security scanner to evaluate and block risky MCPs before loading. The tool provides unified discovery and tooling (get_metadata, run_tool), logs/tracing for tool calls, and can integrate third‑party services (e.g., Lasso Security) for advanced policy checks.
