Description

Food-MCP exposes MCP tools for adding food entries, listing meals, and producing nutrition summaries while the backend provides JWT auth, a PostgreSQL database, and REST APIs. It enables Claude Desktop to call local MCP endpoints so users can manage daily meals, track calories and view analytics through natural language prompts. The project is aimed at developers who want a local MCP-enabled nutrition tracking service integrated with Claude AI for conversational data entry and reporting.
