Description

This server implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to provide programmatic, secure access to filesystem operations within explicitly allowed directories. It supports multiple read methods (whole file, line ranges, keyword/context search), write and diff-based surgical edits with dry-run previews, directory creation/listing, move operations, and git-aware tree listings that respect .gitignore. The server includes comprehensive path validation, symlink checks, and runs conveniently in Docker so agents can mount only the directories they should access. It is designed to enable agents to inspect, modify, and search codebases or documents while enforcing strong boundaries.
