Description

This repository implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects to the Figma API using a personal access token and exposes tools and prompts for LLMs to interact with Figma files. It can extract components, styles, text, comments, and search file contents, and supports both stdio and SSE transports for integration with clients like Claude and Cursor. The server provides built-in tools for design-system analysis, UI copy extraction, and generating developer handoff documentation, enabling automation of common design-to-code workflows. It is intended as a bridge between design assets and AI agents rather than a hosted Figma service.
