Description

This MCP server wraps ffmpeg (and ffplay) to provide tools for finding video files, retrieving metadata, clipping, concatenating, overlaying, scaling and extracting frames. It is intended to make common video operations accessible through an MCP-based dialogue, enabling automated or agent-driven local video workflows. The README includes installation and example configuration for running the server locally; currently it targets macOS (ARM64 and x86_64).
