Description

FastAPI-MCP is a zero-configuration tool that discovers FastAPI routes and converts them into Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. It preserves request/response schemas and endpoint documentation, and can be mounted on the same app or a separate FastAPI app. The library supports filtering which endpoints are exposed, custom tool naming via operation_id, and options to include detailed response schemas in tool descriptions. It is designed to simplify integration of LLM agents with existing FastAPI services.
