Description

ExcelController (mcp-excel-controller-pro) is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for programmatic Excel file manipulation on Windows. It provides tools to read Excel contents, perform bulk updates on open or closed workbooks, manage sheets (add/rename/delete), list and close open Excel files, and open workbooks in the Excel application. It supports modifying files while they are open via the COM interface and can optionally create backups before making changes. The server is intended to be run in a Node.js environment and requires Microsoft Excel to be installed on the host.
