This MCP server extends the official Exasol MCP Server by adding an on-premise Text-to-SQL option, enabling natural language questions to be transformed into governed SQL queries executed on Exasol databases. It ensures data sovereignty by allowing self-hosted LLMs and restricts queries to read-only for security. The server supports integration with AI desktops and various LLM servers, providing a controlled and secure way to query Exasol databases using natural language.
