Description

This MCP server exposes Exa AI's search capabilities (web search, code search, crawling, company research, LinkedIn search, and long-form 'deep researcher' workflows) to assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Codex. It provides fast, token-efficient code and web context to reduce hallucinations and improve coding and research accuracy. The server can be run locally via npx, configured in Claude Desktop/Codex, or accessed remotely via Exa's hosted endpoint and Smithery integration. It supports selecting specific tool subsets and passing an Exa API key for authenticated access.
