Description

This MCP server exposes performant file search capabilities to agents and Claude Desktop by leveraging platform-native search tools (Everything SDK on Windows, Spotlight's mdfind on macOS, and locate/plocate on Linux). It supports rich query parameters (case/regex/whole-word matching, path vs filename, sorting, and result limits) and returns paths, sizes, and modification dates. Installation and configuration instructions are provided for uv/uvx, pip, and for Windows the Everything SDK DLL path must be configured.
