Firmware to use the ESP32 as a WiFi NAT router with optional VPN and AI control features.
Control and monitor a local network using AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol.
Manage VPN and NAT routing on ESP32-based hardware.
Integrate network telemetry with Home Assistant via MQTT.
ESP32 NAT Router firmware enables the ESP32 device to function as a WiFi NAT router, routing between AP and uplink interfaces such as STA or Ethernet. It supports VPN tunneling via WireGuard, DHCP reservations, firewall rules, port forwarding, and live packet capture. Additional features include a web interface, serial and remote consoles, LED and OLED status indicators, MQTT telemetry for Home Assistant, and experimental AI control via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This makes it suitable for network extension, guest networks, VPN routing, and IoT network monitoring.
