A local MCP server that exposes the esp-rainmaker-cli functionality so MCP-capable agents can manage ESP RainMaker devices via the official cloud APIs.
Read device status and parameters from an ESP RainMaker account and present them to users or automation flows.
Change device parameters or toggle actuators (e.g., turn lights on/off) via the official esp-rainmaker cloud APIs using stored CLI credentials.
Manage device schedules, create or update rooms/homes, and organize devices into groups using natural-language commands.
This project wraps the esp-rainmaker-cli library with a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling LLMs and other MCP clients to list devices, read and set parameters, manage schedules, and handle groups (homes/rooms). It runs locally, relies on credentials saved by the official CLI login flow, and performs actions through the ESP RainMaker cloud APIs. The server provides tools for authentication checks, node queries, parameter updates, schedule management, and group/device organization to allow natural-language-driven device control.
