Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to connect MCP clients (e.g., Claude Desktop) to the SEC EDGAR API via the edgartools library. It provides resources and tools for querying company metadata, filings, and financial statements with pagination support and an optional CLI for direct human use. The server is open-source, configurable, and intended to make structured EDGAR data available to agent workflows and testing.
